My Baby 2010

I've been doing something new. After years of favoring spontaneous shooting outdoors in natural light I am experimenting with working in my studio where I can control everything but my subject. I am having way more fun than I ever imagined. WooHooooooooooooooo!

The Haynes-Kresge Family

The first time I photographed this family this is how they looked.

Look at them now! Sweet, tender and two of them are wearing their jammies?!

Because I photograph faces for a living I am very interested in heritage. Faces are sculptures of lines and shape that I love to decode. These two beautiful kids have a six foot tall korean american mom and a scots irish with a touch of french thrown in dad.

Not a bad combo, eh?
